Your Questions, Answered

I'm City & Guilds qualified in multiple trades. Before I became a handyman, I spent 20 years as a mechanical engineer.

It depends on the job. I offer free, no-obligation quotes, and the price I give you is the price you pay — no hidden extras. For most jobs, I quote a fixed price rather than an hourly rate.

I'm based in Ingbirchworth and cover a wide area across Yorkshire including Barnsley, Penistone, Holmfirth, Denby Dale, Sheffield, Stocksbridge, Wakefield, Huddersfield, and more.

No. I don't touch gas — that requires a Gas Safe registered engineer. I'll always be honest about what's in my scope.

Always. I take all rubbish and waste away, and I leave your property clean and tidy.

Yes — visit my Gallery page for before-and-after photos. I'm also happy to show you additional photos relevant to your specific job.

I supply everything unless you'd prefer to source your own. My quotes include materials, fixings, and everything needed.

I offer a 12-month workmanship guarantee. If something's not right, I'll come back and put it right.

Yes. Every quote is provided in writing so there's a clear record of what's included.

I accept bank transfer and cash. For larger jobs, I may ask for a deposit to cover materials, with the balance due on completion.

Both. I'm happy to hang a shelf or build a full patio. No job is too small.

I'll always talk to you before doing any additional work. No surprises.

It's helpful for the start and end, but you don't need to be there the entire time.

After the job, I'll send you a link to leave a review on Google or MyJobQuote. It only takes a couple of minutes.
