Cookie Policy
Last updated: 26 April 2026
I keep cookies to a minimum. The only cookies I set without asking you are the ones the site needs to work properly and to remember your cookie choice. Anything else — analytics, tracking — only runs if you accept it via the banner.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They let the site remember things between page loads — for example, that you have already chosen your cookie preferences.
Cookies on this site
Strictly necessary (no consent needed)
| Name | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|
| cmplz_consented_services cmplz_policy_id cmplz_marketing cmplz_statistics cmplz_functional | Records your cookie banner choice so I do not ask you again on every page. | 365 days |
| wordpress_test_cookie | Used by WordPress to check whether your browser accepts cookies. | Session |
Analytics (consent required)
Google Analytics 4 is configured but blocked until you consent. When enabled it sets:
| Name | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|
| _ga, _ga_* | Distinguishes anonymous visitors and counts page views. | 2 years |
I do not currently send any data to Google. If that changes the cookie banner will let you choose.
Marketing
None. I do not run remarketing or advertising trackers.
Managing your choice
You can change your cookie preferences at any time by clicking the link below or using the cookie icon at the bottom of any page.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser:
